"We Are Love"? Or "We Are To Love"?

I recently came across a Facebook post that had a Big Beautiful heart, and within it were the words:

"We Are Love." Everyone was accepting of this message, but there are subtleties we need to be made are of.

The demonic forces are working hard to twist scripture we grew up with. The work is very subtle, but extremely effective. Words mean what they say, so we better "Say what we mean!" Here was my comment on same:

I thought, "God is Love"? We can "love one another" - that is, give the love that God has put in our hearts, but I don't believe that we can be love. "Love" is Who God is.

This statement by John does not say that God "has love" though He certainly does have love. God, first and foremost "is Love" - we can measure the entire Bible by these 3 words, "God is Love."

If, we hold to a doctrine that does not stand up to the light of this ONE test, then we misunderstand the doctrine we hold - "For God is Love" and He will not do anything contrary to this.

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for GOD IS LOVE. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins"

Here it is: I finally was able to download the above picture to give you an example of the "subtle" lies that the serpent used to "catch" Eve - see Genesis 3:1 "Now the serpent was more SUBTLE than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

Do you see the subtle differences? See what God told Adam in Genesis 2:16-17 "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat...".

Can We Be A "Tree of Life"?

Some may confuse the 9 gifts of the Spirit, with the 9 fruits of the Spirit. The former Is given by the "Spirit dividing to every man severally as He will" (1 Cor 12). In other words we do not strive to obtain a "gift" (such as tongues) but the "gift" by its very definition, is just that - a "gift" from God, "as He will" - whereas, the "fruits" are by definition, that which a tree produces according to the kind of tree it is, as a "Tree of Life" to those around us & all those we meet & touch. Then we shall bear all 9 of these "fruits" & (if possible) maybe even "12 manner of fruits" in all seasons (year around) so that God can use us, & even our "leaves...for the healing of the nations" (Gal. 5:22-25; Rev.22:2).

Personal TESTIMONY

I truly find comfort by reading & studying my Bible, the first thing when I get up in the a.m. I have found that it helps me tremendously in getting through the day. Really - scripture, and talking with God, will truly lift your spirits. My only problem now is stopping. I'm reluctant to put God's Word down.

As did Jesus, I spend at least 2 or 3 hours with God, early in the morning and throughout the day. God tells me stuff & I tell Him stuff - but the most fun is when He surprises me with (you might say) a "joke" - or something like that. There are other bits of things He has done that makes me smile (And I tell Him so). 

God has given me knowledge and wisdom, when for years I was told I was incapable of finishing high school. Yet, I not only finished, but graduated with three more credits than I needed. I found that the King James packs into your brain the connective neurons quickly.


I've seen this also happen to children, who were learning disabled, failing in school and when
given a King James Bible, after a short time, begin making "A"s & "B"s in school and improved behavior. Before, they could hardly read and had very little comprehension, but every time I've seen reading skills go up.

I have known others who have been helped by the King James, as well the "Great Controversy," * [1]

I'm not against using "some" of the other versions of the Bible - But I look at them more as "Bible Commentaries." Nowadays, you have to be extra careful about some of the newer versions that came out since the 1900's. If it is a question of doctrine, you MUST use the King James Version as the final authority.

The King James Bible has an anointing upon it. It has been touched by God, because of all the blood spilled by martyrs over its pages. It seems like a special spirit attends it's every word. I recommend this exceptional book to all those who suffer from depression, loneliness, fear, anxiety or 
anything else this world may throw at you.

This Bible is cheaper than a psychiatrist (sometimes free) and certainly is available 24/7 (in case of emergencies, "break open" its pages!). It won't betray you - or try to put you in a looney bin, nor will it look down its nose at you. But beware -- it will most definitely change you. May God bless all who read it.
